Le Solliet is an easy 10 hour drive from the channel ports, being approximately 600 miles.

• From Albertville, take the N90 dual carriageway to Moutiers, and on to Bourg Saint Maurice.

• Leave Bourg St Maurice on the road towards Val d'Isere. After the village of Seez, take the left fork towards La Rosiere. Having passed through the villages of Villard-Dessous and then Villard-Dessus, on a particularly sharp left-hand bend, take the right turn marked to Montvalezan. Continue for some 2 kilometres and at the point where there is a yellow-shuttered house on your right, take a left marked Le Solliet. Drive along a narrow wooded lane and, when the road emerges from the trees, stay on the right fork. La Grange is the house on the lane on the right with blue shutters and Les Voisins is 100 metres further on the same side of the road. For both houses, park in front, or inside, the garage at Les Voisins.

Le Solliet is 15 minutes drive to La Rosiere, 20 minutes to Sainte Foy, 25 minutes to Tignes (La Breviere) and 25 minutes to Val d'Isere (La Daille) and 20 minutes to Les Arcs (Villaroger).
